Hearing

The Hearing Dogs are trained to work with people who are deaf or have severe hearing impairment. These dogs come from welfare shelters and respond to auditory cues such as a ringing telephone, a knock at the door and an alarm clock.

They are often taught a simple sign language to help with communication.
